End of year review

2008 is coming to a close; I've made up my new budget for 2009 as well as a timeline of goals. The goals are specific and measurable, a bit lofty but attainable, and there are plenty of them. I want to improve everything I do, from how I cook and read to how I make and spend money.
2008 has been a good year and I acheived more than I had planned or hoped. I was promoted to the Director of Administration for work, bumped my salary from $20k to $36k, found a rugby team, ran my first triathlons, and got to travel to Colorado and New York. I didn't plan for these things, they just sort of happenned and unfolded as life came at me. I've got concrete goals for 2009, like to run a marathon again and to expand my earning potential through online outlets, but maybe I've scheduled too much for myself. Maybe I should let a few things go before I even try to attain these goals and just let life, chaos and happenstance take over.
There's still three days before '09 hits, I can re-evaulate in the meantime.
